Weather
The race will go rain or shine. The weather in Pemberton can be considerably warmer than the coast and, by considerable, we mean 5 to 10 degrees. So if it's 20 celcius in Vancouver it's completely feasible that it could be 30 celcius in Pemberton. Yeah, that warm. So plan ahead, stay hydrated and bring lots of water!
Race Course
The race is approximately 40 km in length (but is most likely to feel like 50 km), boasting a lung busting 101 switchbacks of pristine single-track climbing. You get’n the picture? This ain’t your typical XC race. The Nimby Fifty is what we refer to as a technical marathon xc bike race which means it is absolutely loaded with incredible single track.
