The After Party
Food + Refreshments
There will be Organic Gourmet BBQ style food (including veggie option) courtesy of the legend that is The Pony restaurant, along with beer (and non-alcoholic beverages) waiting for you at the finish! (included in your race entry)
There will also be plenty of this food and beverages available for kids, families and support crews (available for a small fee). There is also a small cafe at North Arm farm, run by The Pony, with delicious coffee and pastries in stock.
Awards
Awards will be given once the majority of racers (if not all) are off the course; swag prizing will be given out once all racers are off of the course.
Music
The après is at North Arm Farm so we are hoping to party it up well into the early evening after a hard day in the saddle... so bring you party shoes (and definitely some warm clothing)!
Popular local musician and performer, Papa Josh, will be playing a show following the race. Papa Josh is known as "British Columbia's LIVE One Man Funk Party". For musical samples and info go to www.papajosh.com or check out his video on YouTube.
Mini-Nimby Kids Race
There will be a kids bike race at North Arm Farm (official start/finish area of Nimby 50) at 4pm:
- Kids age 6 and under
- Bring your own helmet & run-bike/regular bike/training wheel bike (depending on attendance we'll do a category for each)
- Small lap course on the grass at North Arm Farm
- No timing, everyone a winner - this is all about the fun!
